How the process works
Adopting a Pixie-Bob kitten from our cattery is a thoughtful, transparent, and family-centered process designed to keep you connected from the moment our kittens arrive. When a new litter is born, we begin sharing photos on our social media pages so you can follow their growth and watch their personalities develop week by week.
At 8 weeks of age, every kitten receives a comprehensive health evaluation from our licensed veterinarian. Once the vet confirms that a kitten is healthy and ready for adoption, we begin offering them first to families on our established waitlist. Any kittens not reserved through the waitlist are then listed on our social media platforms for open adoption.
We know choosing the right kitten is a big decision, and we love helping families find the one that truly “clicks.” If you’re torn between kittens—or just trying to picture how a certain kitten might fit into your home—we’re more than happy to help. We can send extra photos, short videos, or chat with you about each kitten’s personality. And if it turns out we don’t have the look or temperament you’re hoping for, we’re glad to recommend other trusted breeders who might have the perfect match.
When you select the kitten you’d like to welcome into your home, a $400 deposit is required to reserve that kitten. After your deposit is placed, we provide weekly photos and videos so you can stay connected and watch your kitten grow until it is time for delivery.
Before going to their new homes, kittens are spayed or neutered at approximately 12 weeks of age. Once they are fully recovered and cleared for travel, we begin preparing for their transition.
For adopters outside the state of Washington, we work closely with each family to coordinate delivery options in the safest, most reliable, and cost-effective way possible. Our priority is ensuring your kitten’s comfort and well-being throughout the entire journey.
From birth to placement, our goal is to provide a supportive and professional adoption experience—one that places the health, safety, and happiness of every Pixie-Bob kitten at the center of everything we do.
